Scientific studies to PINBLOC were done at the Technical University of Aachen, in the material research laboritory of Böhler and at Infratec at the University of Dresden.

result:

Die hohe thermische Leistungsfähigkeit wurde durch ein neutrales Institut bestätigt:

30 % höhere thermische Leistung gegenüber Strangpreßkühlkörpern
40 % höhere thermische Leistung gegenüber Druckgußkühlkörpern

reasons:
  • material by a higher thermal conductivity of pure aluminium
  • processing by a high densitiy of the microstructure in direction of the themal flow (Böhler)
  • structure by an efficient and homogenous dissipation of the heat (Infratec)
